Jeremy Lloyd was born in 1932. Lloyd although not much is known about him is an acomplished actor, and scriptwriter who has had several collaberations with writer David Croft on a number of successful comedies.
Lloyd made his film debut in 1960 and continued to make countless appearences throught the 60's and 70's. Are You Being Served? was his first success as a writer. He wrote the show with Croft. Then he also went on to produce 'Allo 'Allo, and Grace and Favour. Both he wrote also with Croft.

Lloyd was married to actress Joanna Lumley who appeared in two episodes of Are You Being Served?
